Freeman First Grade Visits Pumpkin Patch
The two First Grade classes from Freeman Public School visited Korner Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday Oct. 16th. Jill Jobman and Joni Schwab discussed with the first graders the stages a pumpkin grows. Mallory Schwab read stories to the students about pumpkins and pumpkin seeds. The first graders learned the smaller the pumpkin the more seeds there will be. The First Graders went on a Scavenger Hunt to look around at all the different kinds of pumpkins on the farm. To end the visit, First Graders tried pumpkin cookies that were made by Bailey Schwab. We had a great time!!! First Grade teachers are Mrs. Laura Ideus and Mrs. Lisa Riha.
