Speech season is off and running!  Freeman Speech Team is working hard and performing well.  This year we have 21 speech members with several new faces!  We have attended six meets so far including: Lincoln Southwest, MUDECAS, Auburn, Conestoga, ECNC, and Humboldt.  At those meets we have had a total of 17 medalists! Medalists so far have been: Kaitlyn Otto, Reagan Connelly, Atley Buhr, Alex Potburg, Jonah Reed, Catie Reed, Summer Buss, Faith Husband, Shelby Ford, Rebecca Ford, Carter Furstenau, Kailey Otto, Grace Van Engen, and Landon Husband. Next Friday, March 6th, we will be headed to Malcolm.  After that, is our district competition at Thayer Central on the 16th of March, then on to state! On March 12th we will be having our annual fundraiser, Speeches A’La Mode! The event will start at 7:00p.m.; you will have the chance to see all of our competitors and enjoy some delectable ice cream sundaes! We hope to see you there!
