September 10^th TeamMates of Freeman kicked off the new year with ice cream bars and a chance for matches to get reacquainted. After several months of virtual-only meetings it is great to be able to meet face-to-face again.  TeamMates and Freeman are working hard to create a safe environment for our mentors and mentees to meet together.  We all understand the need to continue those relationships, especially when we have all been through a time of isolation. Matches also have the option of meeting virtually if that is more desirable for a match.

We continue to look for additional mentors at Freeman. Our list of students desiring a mentor grew when we got back into school! To be a mentor you need to be willing to commit to meeting with a student for thirty minutes a week at school during the school day.
