Freeman’s PE department has a practicum student, Ms. V,  working with them three days a week. Ms. V (Vanessa Meloche) is a student at Doane University. She is originally from Montreal, Canada. In 2004, she received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska while competing for the UNL’s gymnastics team. Currently, she lives on an acreage in the Norris school district with her family. She is enjoying her time and the students at Freeman. On her first day, some students challenged her to a handstand competition. We are thankful to have Ms. V with us this semester.
